This combines both original and copied work.  This is the start of my attempts at original Celtic design and the four panels are from my own head.  The other designs are based from George Bain.  This was a fun picture to do although again the detail is fairly small and a great deal of care was taken to produce this.  My first attempt really at making a complete picture and I learnt a lot whilst doing it, turning corners in key patterns for instance.  This is the first picture that I filled in the background within the picture itself, but later realisation of what I could actually do with backgrounds was still to come.
