I found several different translations of this 11th century Irish verse and adapted them so that it seemed right for me.  It seemed a fitting tribute to the original scribes for the tremendous work and inspiration that must have filled them when doing the original manuscripts.  It carries in it the conviction combined with a sense of humour that these scribes must have had in order to complete these great works.  It is my small tribute to those mostly unnamed workers for giving me the inspiration to carry on this work and to later carry on working with this art form and to eventually combine this with my influences from the twenty first century.
